Firebird Description

As I layed down in the magnificent orchard, a stunning light gets bigger and bigger across the night sky. It was a flaming firebird hovering above the sky. As I reached out to capture the creature, it made a deafening squawk through the whole orchard. I could see my devastated self in its demonic, murderous eyes. The firebird’s blazing glowing tail shined as it whizzed through the sky. I had a sense of where it was located when it landed on a branch creaking creepily like it was the end of the world. As I nervously crept through the horrifying forest, I could immediately smell danger!

As I carefully grabbeds the firebird it was like my hand was burning in a pool of lava. I could hear my own heart beating like a drum. When the firebird made the sky lit up, it was outstanding different colours exploding across the sky like fireworks. The smoke was so thick: I could almost taste it at the back of my throat. The firebird’s wings flaps like a hurricane as I stared at this mysterious creature nervously.

Unfortunately, the burning firebird was too ferocious and aggressive that it managed to escape leaving me with just a single sparkling feather.

We started of thinking of what to write down in our books about our astronaut's life/biography and I chose Frank Borman. After we wrote our biography's we made an interview and after we wrote that down we went to get some Ipads and we use some apps called Morpho Booth and Imovie. We use Morpho Booth and we find a picture of our astronaut and after we save it and we put it in Morpho Booth and then we start recording our interview. We use the camera app also to record our things to say like welcome to the show and stuff like that. After we use Imovie to stick it all in and then later this is what u get with the finished version!

Frank Borman's biography

Have you ever imagined flying in an extremely fast spaceship? Or have you ever dreamed of glancing at the extraordinary, tiny stars? Well, Frank Borman bravely and carefully achieved that goal and was surrounded by gigantic, magnificent planet. Read more to find out about this spectacular astronaut.

In 1928 March 14 at Gary, Indiana, Frank Borman was born. As a child, Borman was always interested of blasting in the sky and flying, especially when his parents (Marjorie and Edwin) let him to on aeroplanes. He was a test pilot so he was insanely brave and that inspired him  a bit more to and made him want to be a pilot! Soon afterwards, he became a fighter pilot!

As he grew older, he absolutely loved to fly planes and blast them in the air. Almost unbelievably, he did that at the age 15! He attended at the U.S Military Academy and bravely earned his air force wings in 1951.

Many years later, In 1962 he luckily was picked by NASA to be part of the second group of brave, skilled astronauts. Shockingly, he went in a dangerous space mission with James A.Lovell into the Gemini 7 mission! Unfortunately he had to retire in 1970 from the air force work and also he had to retire in 1986 from The Eastern Company.

Strangely but happily, Frank Borman is still alive to this day and he is an extremely old man (89 years old). I honestly think that this fearless astronaut is one of the most important person to live in this wonderful world.

Stem Week

For the first day of Stem week I went to Mr. Porter's class and we made a boat that had to float and it couldn't be to heavy or it will sink immediately. We had some modelling clay to build our boat and he would put some marbles every 2 seconds but my group's boat sank instantly.

On Tuesday we went to Ms. Philips and we were protecting our egg so when we drop it  that it won't crack at all. We tried it until the door height and then we went to the lily theater and we dropped it down and my group's one didn't crack at all!

On Wednesday we went to Mr. Collet and we were using our engineering skills by building a land yacht and we powered it by a fan. We had different names for different group's land yacht and our name was Titanic The 2nd.

On Thursday we went to learn with Mr. Kenyon and we were learning about the vitruvian man a drawing made by Leonardo Di vinci. We were seeing if Di Vinci's theory was correct and to find out that we measured each other. (the arm span and the height). His theory was that the arm span is the same as your height , but for me it didn't work.

On Friday we went to discover new things with Ms. Elrick and we needed to use our engineering skills the most for this one. We were building the tallest tower as possible which you need to put a ping pong ball at the top of it. You could only use 5 newspaper and 5 paperclips and scissors but if you cut it you wouldn't be able to tape it so you had to be very careful. For my group we won in our whole group which is group 3 and our tower got to 144 cm and it didn't fall at all.

Coral Ocean was in jail waiting to get out. It was visiting time and no one came to her visit her.

The guards were letting people out to reunite with their families. No one came to her cell. There was a tear that rolled down on the bars trying to get out. The only thing she had was food and the tears were dropping on it and made her food all soggy and wet.

A guard comes stomping by, "Are you ok in  here?" sneered the guard. "Oh are you blind I'm having an amazing time in here!" yelled Coral Ocean, as she quickly turned away.
