Have you ever imagined flying in an extremely fast spaceship? Or have you ever dreamed of glancing at the extraordinary, tiny stars? Well, Frank Borman bravely and carefully achieved that goal and was surrounded by gigantic, magnificent planet. Read more to find out about this spectacular astronaut.

In 1928 March 14 at Gary, Indiana, Frank Borman was born. As a child, Borman was always interested of blasting in the sky and flying, especially when his parents (Marjorie and Edwin) let him to on aeroplanes. He was a test pilot so he was insanely brave and that inspired him  a bit more to and made him want to be a pilot! Soon afterwards, he became a fighter pilot!

As he grew older, he absolutely loved to fly planes and blast them in the air. Almost unbelievably, he did that at the age 15! He attended at the U.S Military Academy and bravely earned his air force wings in 1951.

Many years later, In 1962 he luckily was picked by NASA to be part of the second group of brave, skilled astronauts. Shockingly, he went in a dangerous space mission with James A.Lovell into the Gemini 7 mission! Unfortunately he had to retire in 1970 from the air force work and also he had to retire in 1986 from The Eastern Company.

Strangely but happily, Frank Borman is still alive to this day and he is an extremely old man (89 years old). I honestly think that this fearless astronaut is one of the most important person to live in this wonderful world.
