When I got there, I was so unhappy, but also melting with excitement! After a while I saw people with petrifying skeletons costumes that looked terrifying. Then after someone was dancing and singing a joyful song which cheered people up and we were all dancing. The Mexican town was lifeless because they were depressed. Even though everyone was heartbroken, they still had some fun.
When I was walking around,I could smell some delicious burritos and tacos. I knew I had to get one. I tasted it and I was on fire and burning inside my mouth. I saw lots of food everywhere some were still steaming in my mouth and some were excellent. I saw lots of people having a skeleton face paint that was artistically terrifying. Almost unbelievably lots of people were dancing with joy that made the Day Of The DEAD (Dia De Los Muertos)more enjoyable and it was like the festival was coming to life. There was so many photos of the people who passed away with their favourite things. I heard people playing music that was affecting people because they were crying out loud so much that I thought they were going to flood the whole town! Also, there were lots of big, loud chatter boxes everywhere and I thought my ears were going to bleed! The incredibly bright candles were burning a lot and I saw there were lots of gorgeous flowers to pay respect of the people who passed away. I explored the depressed, dark graveyards. I felt like the people’s spirit would haunt me and I was horrified. Suddenly there was no one touching me but I felt like I was getting pulled in by magical magnet. Then I was getting pulled graveyard. I got pulled underground, I realized I was stuck and I never ever could get out! |
